Since its inception in 1990, the Stony Brook EM residency program has grown tremendously.  In 2008, our department moved into a brand new, state of the art ED, complete with 3 advanced resuscitation bays, a large critical care area, and an even larger acute care area.  Our volume now exceeds 110,000 patient visits per year, and our residency currently trains 16 residents per year.  We have added world class faculty and now have 4 different fellowship training programs. 

 

None of this would have been possible without our outstanding former residents, who graduated our resident training program and now represent us from coast to coast and even in Alaska and Hawaii.  In recognition of our outstanding alumni, we are creating a Stony Brook Emergency Medicine Residency Alumni organization.  Please consider joining with a monetary donation.  The funds will go toward organizing alumni get togethers at national conferences, as well as...
